I live in a mobile home so space is and always will be limited. After my desk top computer died, I knew that it was time for a new computer purchase. There are lot of options available now when choosing a computer. So after doing some research I decided that a laptop would be wonderful for us. They are compact and lightweight and we can take it with us. So next I had to find one that was the right price and right for our family. I found the Everex Stepnote Notebook Computer. I found this at walmart.com, and it featured 15.4 inch wide screen display, 1.46 GHZ Intel celeron M processor 410, 512 MB ram, 60 GB hard drive, DVD ROM/DVD+/-RW with double layer support, Wifi 802.11 b/g 10/100 mdps LAN, and featuring diamond bright technology 1280×800. It also had a Lithium Ion Battery, USB Port x 3, audio port, microphone port. 56k modem, built in speakers. The preinstalled software with it was Windows Vista home basic, Cyberlink dvd suite, and Norton Internet security 2007.

It works great for gaming, and I have not had any problems with the system, I did call tech support one time to find out where the computer manual was on the computer, and they were very friendly and helpful and my hold time was very minimal. This is a great computer and it is upgradeable to 2 GB of memory, I went ahead and bought the wireless mouse for family gaming, but the touch pad is easy and convenient to use as well, and 3 and 4 year-old caught on the first day. I recommend this computer for writers, homeworkers, college students or you can replace the family computer with this compact delight.

When we first got the computer I figured it would take some time to get used to the transition, because all I had ever owned were desktops. The features were very easy to learn, this was very convenient for my writing and on trips. I can either work or watch a movie. I found the everex at walmart.com, but other retailers include circuit city and office max. The computer is a beautiful silver color, and the diamond bright technology really makes a difference my picture is a whole lot clearer and brighter. The only thing about this computer that I did not like was the fact the battery charge only lasted me about 2 hours, but I just bought a car adapter and it came with an electrical adapter. I can honestly say this product has simplified my life and I love it. I would recommend you give this great product a chance.
